When China agreed to let giant pandas be sent to other countries, some entered agreements where any cubs born in captivity would be sent back to China. Tai Shan, a panda at the National Zoo in Washington, has come of age and will be going ‘home’ soon.
It does make me wonder tho…animals can understand the language (to a degree) that is spoken around them. So if Tai Shan is used to English, how will he react to being in China? Does it make it harder for the animals to adapt to their new surroundings?
